Aston Martin follows up with its SUV DBX. The new 707 model variant delivers 520 kW/707 hp and 900 Nm, which is 157 hp and 200 Nm more than the conventional DBX (combined fuel consumption: 14.2 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 323 g/km)². The power bolt should be available from summer. The manufacturer has not yet announced prices; but the DBX707 should break the 200,000 euro mark.

The increase in performance compared to the regular DBX is generated from a revision of the four-liter V8 engine provided by Mercedes-AMG, including ball-bearing turbochargers and modified engine software. The air suspension, steering and driving programs were also modified. The nine-speed automatic transmission with wet clutch, also contributed by Mercedes, takes care of the power transmission. The 2,245-kilogram SUV sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 310 km/h. The deceleration is provided by up to 420 millimeters large carbon-ceramic brakes.
Visually, the DBX707 stands out with a larger radiator grille in satin chrome, modified daytime running lights, more pronounced side skirts and an exhaust system with four large tailpipes. The order books for the tall, fast Briton with German roots are now open. (Text: em/sp-x, tv | Pictures: manufacturer)
