Different types of chocolate
There are different types of chocolate. In the recipes below, a type of chocolate has always been chosen, but of course you can vary with other types of chocolate or even several types of chocolate can be used. Here is an overview of the different types of chocolate:

In addition to these four types of chocolate, there are of course countless variations where different ingredients have been added to the chocolate, such as caramel, hazelnuts or puffed rice. However, for this recipe it is not recommended to use a chocolate type with added ingredient. For this recipe, choose white, milk, dark, extra dark or a combination of these chocolate types.
Recipe for brownies with pieces of chocolate
The brownies from this recipe contain small pieces of real chocolate, which gives this chocolate sensation an extra effect. In this recipe we chose to add white pieces of chocolate, but these white pieces of chocolate can of course also be replaced by other pieces of chocolate such as milk or dark. If you like the bitter taste of 70% cocoa chocolate, you can of course also add it as pieces to the brownies.
Brownies for the whole family!
With this recipe you spoil the whole family. The recipe is for 12 people. Make sure you have a baking tin of 20-28 cm. The height of the brownies will then be about 5 cm.
Required ingredients
The ingredients required for this recipe are:
- 5 eggs
- 150 grams of butter (choose cream butter if you like an extra creamy taste)
- 350 grams of brown caster sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla-flavored sugar
- 100 grams of cocoa powder
- 150 grams of flour
- 1 pinch of salt

Preparation method
The preparation method of these brownies consists, as it were, of three phases; the preparation, preparation and serving tips.
Preparation
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Make sure that the butter does not boil and stir the butter regularly. Then let the melted butter cool down well.
Then beat the eggs in a mixing bowl and carefully beat the brown sugar through it. Continue to beat until all lumps are gone, then stir the cooled butter into the mixture. Add the vanilla sugar, cocoa, flour and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Carefully fold these last ingredients through the mixture, but do not stir, otherwise the structure of the brownies will be too cakey.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Gently spoon the small pieces of white chocolate into the mixture. Grease the baking pan and then pour the mixture into the baking pan. Heat the mixture in the center of the oven for 40 minutes.
Serving tips
Let the brownies cool down before removing them from the baking tin. Then cut the brownies into 12 square pieces.

- Serve the brownies in a nice bowl
- To test whether the brownies are already cooked on the inside, you can pierce the middle with a skewer. Does it come out clean? Then the brownies are done.

Chocolate chip cookie recipe
The tastiest chocolate chip cookies consist of a combination of tasty pieces of chocolate and cookie dough that has not been completely baked off, so that the cookies are still a bit creamy, as it were. This recipe makes about 25 chocolate chip cookies!
Required Ingredients
- 500 grams of self-raising flour
- 250 grams of butter (at room temperature)
- 200 grams of fine granulated sugar
- 150 grams of brown caster sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla-flavored sugar
- 350 grams of dark chocolate (chopped into small pieces)
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation method
Place the butter, brown caster sugar, caster sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl and mix until creamy. Then add the eggs one by one and keep stirring the mixture well. When the mixture is smooth you can add the self raising flour and a pinch of salt. Finally add the chopped dark chocolate pieces.
Using 2 spoons, make flat circles of dough on the greased baking tray. Make sure there is enough space between the cookies. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. When the cookies have just come out of the oven they are still soft, but when they cool down they will harden on their own.

After they have cooled, place the cookies on a nice platter and divide them. They are sure to please your friends / family.
Recipe for a delicious chocolate cake
Recipe for a delicious chocolate cake for 10 people. Make sure you have a 24cm diameter springform pan ready.
Required ingredients
- 150 grams of butter
- 150 grams of granulated sugar
- 6 eggs
- 50 grams of flour
- 350 grams of dark chocolate in pieces
- 100 grams of pure shaved chocolate
Preparation method
Separate the eggs into yolks and egg whites. Melt the pieces of dark chocolate, butter and granulated sugar in a bain-marie. Then stir it into a smooth mixture. Let the mixture cool before stirring in the 6 egg yolks. When this is a smooth mixture you can fold in the flour. Then beat the egg whites and scoop them carefully into the chocolate mixture. Pour the dough into a greased baking pan and let it bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
Let the cake cool and sprinkle the shaved chocolate on top.
