This year’s commentary for the Eurovision Song Contest will be provided by Cornald Maas and DJ Sander Lantinga. The organization announced this today.
Normally, Maas and singer Jan Smit take care of the Dutch-language commentary for the Eurovision Song Contest. But because Smit is one of the presenters this year, Radio 538 DJ Sander Lantinga can take over from him once.
Best summer job ever
Lantinga has been on a Eurovision committee at AVROTROS for a few years now and is a big fan of the song contest. “Certainly because the festival is being organized in the Netherlands this year and it is a one-off event, I think this is the best holiday job ever”, says Lantinga.
The Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Rotterdam in May. The semifinals will be on 18 and 20 May and the final will be broadcast on 22 May. Last week it became clear that an audience will still be admitted to the event. A maximum of 3,500 people are welcome per show and must present a negative corona test.
