Then make a pasta with sausages that is ready within half an hour and can also be frozen very easily for busy periods. Serve it with a salad. The recipe is for four people. Also tasty: Tuscan bean dish. Both dishes contain diced tomatoes and sausages. Typically Italian ingredients form the basis for these dishes. Italian dishes are known for their simplicity and taste.
Ingredients pasta sauce with sausage meat
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 4 sausages
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- dried oregano
- dash of dry white wine
Preparation
Chop the onion into pieces. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the pieces of onion in it. Squeeze the garlic above and fry it for a few minutes. Remove the meat from the sausages and make it fine. This can be done manually, but it is easier to do this with a food processor. Then add the tomato puree and stir everything together. Add oregano to taste and stir well into the mixture. Then add a splash of white wine. Don’t be too frugal. Let all of this simmer for a while. Finally add the tomato cubes. It is of course also possible to use fresh tomatoes. Meanwhile, put the pasta on and cook it according to the instructions. The sauce can be left on low heat in the meantime. Serve the dish when the pasta is ready. Delicious with ciabatta and an (Italian) salad or pieces of cucumber.

The sausage sauce can also be stored very well in the freezer. If you regularly freeze leftover bits, you can quickly and easily make a tasty lasagna with the frozen leftovers over time. All that is needed for that is Bechamel sauce and lasagne sheets. Of course you can also use the leftovers for a nice easy pasta.

Ingredients Italian bean dish with pork sausages (4 persons)
- 440 grams of dried cannellini beans
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 1 tomato, core removed and halved
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (extra virgin)
- 8 Italian sausages (75 grams)
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes
- chili powder to taste
Preparation
Place the beans in a bowl of water so that they are just below. Let them soak overnight. The next day, drain the beans and put them in a saucepan with 1.75 liters of water. Bring this to a boil. Add 2 cloves of garlic, 4 sage leaves and half the tomatoes. Let this simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours on low heat until the beans are tender. Season with salt and then drain the beans. Remove garlic, sage and tomatoes. Then finely chop the 2 remaining garlic cloves. Heat the olive oil, the remaining 4 sage leaves and the finely chopped garlic in a frying pan. Add the sausages and fry them light brown all around for 10 minutes. Add the beans, diced tomatoes and chili powder. Let this simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Stir now and then. Season with salt and pepper. Finally, place the beans in a preheated serving dish. Place the sausages on top.
