Music streaming service Spotify is currently experiencing a malfunction and chat platform Discord also reports connection problems. It is unclear what causes this.
On social media, users say that they have been automatically logged out and can no longer log in to Spotify. At around 7.30 pm, the Downdetector platform registered a peak of tens of thousands of reports of malfunctions.
“It looks like something isn’t right, we’re looking into it,” the Swedish company said on Twitter. The platform has not disclosed any further details.
Discord also says it has problems. According to the company, chat messages are not being sent properly due to an unknown malfunction.
It is unclear whether the disruptions at the companies are related and how long they will last.
