Mango cottage cheese
Ingredients
- 2 mangoes
- 4 tablespoons of orange juice
- Cup of cottage cheese
- Coconut shavings
Preparation method
- Puree the mango flesh with the orange juice.
- Place alternately a layer of mango and a layer of cottage cheese in bowls. Finish with a layer of mango.
- Garnish with coconut.
How do you cut the flesh of the mango?
Use ripe mangos with the above recipe. You can check whether a mango is ripe by pressing the skin with your finger. When the skin is compressible and then springs back, the mango is ripe. Now cut the mango lengthwise with a knife, as close to the stone as possible. Do this on both sides of the pit. You can cut loose the pulp that is still on the middle part with the stone. For the two halves without pit, cut a diamond pattern in the pulp with a knife, right up to the skin. Then you press the shell inside out, the “diamonds” will then separate. This way you can easily cut them off the skin.
Banana surprise
Ingredients
- 4 bananas

- Strawberry jelly
- 2 cups of Bulgarian yogurt
- Chocolate flakes
Preparation method
- Crush 3 bananas and mix with 2 tablespoons of jam.
- Divide the mixture into ramekins and pour the yogurt over it.
- Garnish with jam in the center and banana slices on the edge.
- Sprinkle some chocolate flakes over it.
Nut yogurt
Ingredients
- 5 dL yogurt
- 75 grams of chopped walnuts
- 75 grams of brown sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
Preparation method
- Mix all ingredients and divide them between bowls.
- Tip: you can make walnuts small by putting them in a kitchen towel and then going over them with a rolling pin or hitting them with a hammer.
Toblerone mousse
Ingredients (for 4 persons)
- 200 grams of Toblerone (filled chocolate bar)
- 4 tablespoons of milk
- 400 ml of whipped cream
Preparation method
- Melt the Toblerone “au bain marie”. While melting, add the milk while stirring.
- When the chocolate has melted, let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile beat the whipped cream.
- Then scoop the chocolate into the whipped cream with a spatula. Do not stir, because the whole must remain light.
- Put the mousse into glasses and let it set in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
What is “au bain marie”?
Au bain marie is the term used for heating or melting products in a bowl, without allowing this bowl to come into direct contact with the heat source. To this end, the dish is placed in a larger pan containing water, which is heated.
