Halloween dinner from aperitif to dessert
At Halloween everyone wants to unpack with an original dinner. It is quite an art to conjure up something tasty and healthy on the table that still looks a bit dirty and scary. A few hours in the kitchen and it is possible to conjure up a fantastic Halloween dinner! Complete with an aperitif, soup, main course and dessert. With spiders, ghosts, brooms, eyeballs, severed limbs, horror drinks, murdered babies and bloody situations. Tasty!
Buy thick sausages (type of sausages). Cut them into three pieces. Now make notches at the bottom, so that you get legs. Open the legs and place the sausage ghosts on a plate with lettuce or grated carrots. The piece that does not have a nice round can give you a mustard wig at the top.
Pumpkin: healthy plate
A little patience is required here. Take carrots. Cut the leaves off and peel or scrape them. Then cut them into pieces of about two to three centimeters. Arrange three small jars with dipping sauces on a platter, preferably triangular jars. Place two on top with the point down for the eyes, one in the middle with the point up for the nose. You can, for example, put pesto in the jars, then you immediately have an eerie color. Now take a cucumber. Peel it and cut into slices about a centimeter thick. Cut the slices into four. Now arrange the pieces like a mouth. Now arrange the carrots around the pots and the mouth in the shape of a pumpkin. Finish with a bunch of parsley at the top as a stem.
Take a bag / box of salt sticks. Cut cheese into cubes of 1 cm by 2 cm. Now cut strands lengthwise. Place the cheese strings around the salt stick and tie with a sprig of chives. You now have a nice and tasty witch’s broom.
Buy small cheese balls (mozzarella type). Take red edible coloring and draw fine veins on the cheese ball. Take black pitted olives and cut into rings. Press an olive ring into each cheese ball.
Chopped off fingers
Take Knack sausages and cut them in half. Take almond flakes and put a flaky nail on each sausage. Now take a toothpick and make the lines of the phalanges on the sausages. Place on a plate between grated zucchini or carrot.
Take a plastic glove and fill it with water. Button up and put in the freezer for one day and one night. Put red or green drink in a punch bowl. Remove the glove from the freezer, remove the glove from the ice, and place the ice hand in the drink.

Soup with spiders
Traditionally, the Halloween soup is pumpkin soup, but you can of course make any other soup. Tomato soup or chervil soup, it doesn’t matter. For the spiders you need meatballs and spaghetti. You can work in different ways. Either you spin balls and bake them. You put the spider legs in it by breaking a stick of raw spaghetti into pieces and sticking it into the meat like legs. Then you throw everything in the warm soup. The legs boil and go limp. Or you roll your balls, put in the raw spaghetti legs and let everything heat up with the soup. You will get boiled balls and more fat in your soup. If you don’t want fat in your soup, you can first boil the spiders in a pot of water and then throw them in the soup.
Soup with ghosts or spider webs
With cream you can make beautiful drawings in red or green soup. Spoon the soup into the plates and make a ghost or spider web with cream. Or give everyone their own jar of cream. This way everyone can work creatively and there is a good laugh with the artworks obtained. Does anyone not like cream? Then deef Maggi, for example. With this you can also make nice drawings in your soup.
Make two meatballs, one large and one small. You now have a head and a body. Arrange in an oven dish. Also make four sausages for the arms and legs. Fry the ground beef. Then make jet black eyes with olives and a red mouth with pieces of radish or tomato. Take a knife and stick it in the baby’s body. Make blood next to the wound with ketchup or tomato sauce. Serve with spaghetti and tomato sauce.
Plate of tasty vomit
Take tomatoes and heat them in the oven. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Fill a plate with tomato slices. Place a layer of fried minced meat on top. On top of the layer of minced meat again a layer of tomato slices. On top of this a layer of spaghetti strands and then tomato sauce. You can spray the tomato sauce with a piping bag in the form of a spider web. Finish with a black olive as a spider.
Cut the two ends off the bananas, about two inches long. Set them straight and draw two eyes and a mouth with liquid chocolate.
Peel tangerines. Put them on a plate. In the hole you put a small piece of green marzipan for the stem.
Make figures from meringue. Spray ghosts by spraying three balls on each other, one big at the bottom and one small at the top. Make eyes and mouth with liquid chocolate after baking the egg whites. Spray bones and bones.
Place a scoop of pistachio ice cream on each plate. Decorate with red cherry eyes, black licorice nose and black lace mouth. Make strands of hair with black lace and place a turned horn on the whole. Just a little more grenadine around the witch and eat!
A fun and healthy ending for children: ghost milk. Melt a small amount of chocolate. Using a clean finger, apply two eyes and a ghostly mouth to the inside of a glass. Put the glasses in the fridge for a while, so that the chocolate stiffens. Now pour the milk into the glass. Spooky!
