Many ice cream recipes contain eggs. There are many people who do not want eggs in their diet. In some cases an egg substitute can be used. Here, however, a recipe for making ice cream without eggs or egg substitutes. Only milk, cream and sugar are needed for this ice cream. Plus, it’s easy to make, with or without an ice cream maker.
With an ice machine
Mix a large package of vanilla pudding with half a liter of milk. Add half a cup of sugar and some sweetened condensed milk. Mix it thoroughly with a mixer. Optionally add a syrup to taste. Pour the contents of the bowl into an ice cream maker. Add up to half a liter of milk, if the capacity of the icemaker allows. Follow the ice cream maker’s instructions.
Without ice cream maker
Combine half a liter of milk, half a cup of sugar and two cups of whipped cream in a large mixing bowl with an immersion blender. Optionally add a syrup to taste. Put the mixture in a large container that fits in the freezer. Pour two cups of milk and half a cup of chocolate syrup into the container and stir as you pour. Freeze the container for 30 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir with a whisk or an electric mixer. Return the container to the freezer and repeat every 30 minutes for about three hours.
Ice cream with egg substitute
Egg replacements are considered healthier than fresh, whole eggs. They are made from egg whites only to avoid the high cholesterol and fat content of the yolk. To make egg replacer ice cream, you need two packs of egg replacer. Combine these with two packets of vanilla pudding, two cups of sugar, and a cup of milk. Optionally add a syrup to taste. Mix these for two minutes with an electric hand blender. Add a tablespoon of vanilla and put the mixture in the ice cream maker. Possibly fill the ice cream maker with more milk. Follow the instructions for your ice cream maker.
Make ice cream with milk
Combine 2 cups of whole milk and 1 cup of sugar in a medium bowl and mix until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir. If you are using an ice cream maker, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
To make ice cream with just milk by hand, you don’t have to replace whole mek with a skim milk. The higher water content will freeze the human body to a much harder state with ice crystals, resulting in a less creamy product.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a large container with a lid, or use plastic wrap if you don’t have a lid. Put these in the freezer. Remove the container from the freezer after 45 minutes and stir with a spatula or heavy whisk. If necessary, scrape the frozen mixture off the edges and use a hand blender. Return the container to the freezer and repeat the stirring procedure every 30 minutes until the ice has frozen and you are unable to stir it.
To add flavor (instead of vanilla), pour the milk, sugar and vanilla mixture into a blender and add 3 cups of the ingredients you want, such as fresh raspberries, avocados, chocolate flakes, strawberries, coconut flakes or walnuts. Mix this in the blender until smooth and pour it into the container.
Low fat ice cream
As delicious as ice cream is to some people, it’s not the healthiest of the options when it comes to food choice. You can change this by making the ice cream yourself and therefore also determine which ingredients you use for it. The advantage is that you can omit the heavy cream or whipped cream and use less heavy dairy products instead of whipped cream. With a lower fat content.
Pour chocolate syrup, or any other syrup of your choice, into a large bowl along with whole milk, coffee milk, and condensed milk. Beat the ingredients together, possibly with a hand blender. Make sure it is a good mixture. You can say that it is completely mixed when the liquid has an even color.
Place the bowl in the freezer and repeat the process of stirring every 30 minutes and returning to the freezer for 3 to 4 hours.
