Malou Petter and Mark Visser will be full-time presenters of the . as of this month NOS News. Previously, they combined that position with other activities within the NOS. Their full-time appointment is related to the departure of Astrid Kersseboom to the NOS Radio 1 News and Amber Brantsen to pay channel Viaplay.
The 31-year-old Malou Petter came to work at the NOS in 2011. She started as an intern at the youth news, where she continued to work as an editor, reporter and broadcaster. In 2019 she switched to the NOS News, a position she has been combining with that of presenter for a year now.
Petter is excited: “The request to become a full-time presenter came earlier than expected. But it feels good to focus on one thing. I am honored to be able to grow even more as one of the regular faces of the NOS News.”
‘Broadening knowledge and skills’
Mark Visser joined the NOS in 2006 as an editor and newsreader for the radio. He has been presenting the news part-time since March 2016; In addition, he is a stand-in presenter of the NOS Radio 1 News.
The 40-year-old Visser also presents programs from the Events department, such as the 75th anniversary of D-Day. “That’s the beauty of the NOS”, he thinks. “Within this organization you get the opportunity to practice more than one discipline and to broaden your knowledge and skills.”
