Knead the butter and wheat flour together with your hands until a kind of breadcrumbs form. When you have breadcrumbs, mix in the sugar and almond flakes. Knead this well once more and then let it rest, otherwise it will become too soft.
- Cut the mango into small pieces. There is a large flattened stone in the middle of the mango. It is useful to cut the mango in three lengths. First, as tight as possible along the wick on both outer sides. When you have done that, you have three parts. The middle part with the pit in it, and the two outer sides without the pit. Repeat this one more time but on the other sides of the wick. Then remove the skin with a knife and cut the mango into small pieces. Nowadays there is also a mango peeler. This is a plastic ring in the shape of the mango. Inside the plastic ring is a knife shaped like the kernel of the mango. Press this plastic ring onto the mango from above. The knife cuts through the mango, right along the stone. Then cut the skin off with a knife and cut the mango into small pieces. Put the mango in a bowl / container and add the syrup. Stir this mixture together well so that all pieces of mango syrup are there.
- Then divide the mixture of the mango and the syrup over the containers. Then divide the breadcrumbs over the trays. Make sure all mango pieces are covered and press the breadcrumbs equally well. You can then add some extra almond shavings to the breadcrumbs.
- Put the mango crumble in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. When the breadcrumb mixture is golden brown, the mango crumble is ready. The mango crumble is best when served straight from the oven.
Apple Crumble

- Let the raisins soak in a bowl of warm water. Peel and core the apples. Then cut the apples into small pieces. Put the pieces of apple in a bowl / container and add the raisins and about 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix this all together well.
- Then divide the mixture of apples, raisins and cinnamon over the containers. Then divide the breadcrumbs over the trays. Make sure all apple pieces are covered and press the breadcrumbs equally well. You can then add some extra almond shavings to the breadcrumbs.
- Put the apple crumble in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. When the breadcrumb mixture is golden brown, the apple crumble is ready. The apple crumble is best served lukewarm.
