The well-known “healthy sandwich” is so everyday that we actually ignore the fact that a good healthy sandwich is actually a source of vitamin and a good basis to get through the afternoon, for example. That healthy sandwich must be really healthy and not be pushed full of all kinds of so-called healthy salads. Some options with everyday ingredients (which everyone usually has at home) and which are really healthy and tasty.
Roast beef with green pesto
Ingredients
- waldkorn rolls
- freshly baked roast beef
- green pesto
- fresh pepper
- sherry tomato
- cucumber
- margarine
Preparation
Cut the buns in half and spread with margarine. Spread a layer of green pesto on both halves and then add a few slices of fresh roast beef. Fresh pepper on top and then a few slices of tomato and cucumber on one of the two halves. Close the bun and press it lightly.
Roast beef with spicy sprinkle cheese
Ingredients
- wholemeal rolls
- freshly baked roast beef
- spicy matured cheese (20+)
- fresh pepper
- cucumber
- margarine
Preparation
Cut the buns in half and spread with margarine. Place a few slices of fresh roast beef on both halves and sprinkle some fresh pepper on top. Chop the spicy cheese and sprinkle it over the roast beef. Make a few thin slices of cucumber and place them on top. Close the bun and press it lightly.
Chicken with Hüttenkäse
Ingredients
- waldkorn rolls
- Hüttenkäse
- freshly baked chicken (sandwich spread)
- hard boiled egg
- salt
- sherry tomato
- green pepper
- margarine
Preparation
Cut the buns in half and spread with margarine. Spread the halves with Hüttenkäse and place a thin slice of chicken on both halves. Then cut a few thin slices from the tomatoes and chop a piece of bell pepper. Finally, cut off some slice of egg. Put all this on one of the halves where the chicken rests, add a pinch of salt and close the sandwich. Just press on.
Ham cheese
Ingredients
- whole grain baguette
- mature 20+ cheese
- arugula lettuce
- lean ham
- hard boiled egg
- tomato ketchup
- tomato
- cucumber
- Red onion
- margarine
Preparation
Cut the baguette lengthwise and spread it with margarine. Now cover one half with cheese and the other with ham. Place some washed lettuce on both halves and place a slice of hard-boiled egg with a drop of tomato ketchup on one of the halves. Put some slices of cucumber and tomato on top and chop some red onion on top. Close the bread and press briefly.
Finally
Place the sandwiches in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before they are eaten. Eat the healthy sandwich with a glass of low-fat or semi-skimmed milk, a cup of fresh mint tea or a little more luxurious with a glass of dry white wine.
