Leiden has four organic shops with a population of 118,000 (in 2011). Three of these stores specialized in organic food and care are located in the center. In the neighborhoods beyond you will only find one organic shop, although it is located just outside the center. In the neighborhoods outside there is no shop with only or mainly organic products and you have to rely on the organic offer from the butcher, baker, greengrocer and supermarket.
