The gun that Sean Connery used in his first James Bond movie Dr. No. used, has fetched $ 256,000 (210,000 euros) at an auction in Los Angeles.
The buyer is unknown. Auction house Julien’s Auction only wanted to say that he is an American who has seen all James Bond films with his children. The auction house had hoped the Walther PP would yield between $ 150,000 and $ 200,000.

Connery died in the Bahamas on October 31. To most fans, he was the best of the six actors to play the role of the British secret agent.
