The national day of action for Ukraine starts today at 6 a.m. on ten radio stations and on social media. In the evening the television program is on NPO 1, RTL 4 and SBS Together in action for Ukraine to see. The aim of the day of action is to raise as much money as possible for the victims of the war in Ukraine.
The channels 100% NL, NPO Radio 2, NPO 3FM, NPO Radio 5, Qmusic, Radio 538, Radio 10, Radio Veronica, SLAM! and Sublime together form Radio555 on Monday. DJs from the radio stations can be heard in varying combinations throughout the day. The DJs report on the fundraiser and provide space for personal stories. The NOS provides news updates about the situation in Ukraine.
Listeners can request a song between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. in exchange for a donation or donate directly via the radio555.nl website. The proceeds of the commercial breaks, which are filled with specially made commercials, also go to Giro 555.

The televisionprogramme Together in action for Ukraine starts at 8:30 p.m. The program is presented by Chantal Janzen and Rob Kemps, known for party act Snollebollekes and TV program Chansons!† In the studio, Eva Jinek and Jeroen Pauw receive guests at their talk show table.
Dionne Stax and Britt Dekker report from the national action center of Giro 555 in the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. Sound and Vision in Hilversum also reports on social media campaigns.
The national action day on television will end at 11 p.m. with the announcement of the amount raised. A lot of money has already been raised: on Sunday evening the counter stands at 16.2 million euros.
