Sandwiches always do well; during breakfast, for lunch or as a side dish for an evening meal. This article lists three recipes for easy-to-prepare oven sandwiches. Enjoy your meal!
The recipes for the sandwiches are easy to make and are suitable for 1 or more people (topping as desired).
Recipe 1: Baguette from the oven with brie, chorizo, pineapple and mushrooms
You need this:
- baguette for in the oven (white or brown)
- Brie
- slices of chorizo (meat department supermarket)
- tin of pineapple chunks
- mushrooms (preferably canned)
- butter (low-fat margarine or margarine)
This is how you make it:
Preheat the oven. Cut open the baguette and spread a layer of butter on the top and bottom. Now put slices of chorizo on the bottom half of the baguette. Place slices of brie on top of the chorizo. Put the pineapple pieces and the canned mushrooms on the brie slices. You can also use fresh mushrooms, but canned mushrooms taste great with this sandwich. Now put the bun in the oven at about 200 degrees and bake it for about 10 minutes. When the bun is golden brown and the brie has melted, you can eat it.
Tip: The toppings on this sandwich will easily fall off in the oven (eg the mushrooms). Therefore, cut only one side of the baguette open and put the bun open in the oven for better toppings.
Recipe 2: Italian bun with honey goat cheese and walnuts
- Italian bun (s) for the oven
- goat cheese with honey (for sale at eg AH), or else goat cheese and a jar of honey
- butter (low-fat margarine or margarine)
- walnuts
- Italian spices
This is how you make it:
Preheat the oven. Cut the Italian bulb open and cover the top and bottom of the bulb with a layer of butter. Spread (a thick layer of) goat cheese with honey on the bottom of the bulb. If you use regular goat cheese or goat cheese slices, then sprinkle the goat cheese with honey from a jar. Grind the walnuts (one or two per ball) into small pieces and place on top of the goat cheese. Now sprinkle some (a little bit) of Italian herbs on the whole. Bake in the oven until the bun is golden brown and the goat cheese has melted (about 10 minutes).
Recipe 3: Crispy bread with mozzarella, vine tomatoes and fresh basil
You need this:
- Slice (s) of bread, if necessary. are on the old side
- Olive oil
- Small vine tomatoes
- Mozzarella ball
- Fresh basil
This is how you make it:
Preheat the oven. Pour some olive oil over the bread, you can cut the crusts off if necessary. Place the small tomatoes on the vine in an oven dish and drizzle olive oil over it. Now put the bread and the tray with vine tomatoes in the oven. Let the bread become crispy and let the tomatoes on the vine get soft and cooked. Remove the bread and tomatoes from the oven. Cut slices of mozzarella and put them on the crusty rolls. Remove the vine tomatoes and place them on top. Finally, put all the way on top of the fresh basil. A delicious combination!
Tip: This sandwich can also be made for a party. Then cut a sandwich into quarters, for example.
