The 22-year-old Polish-Belgian youtuber Kastiop from Hasselt is missing. The police have sent a search message.
Kacper Przybylski, the real name of the YouTube phenomenon, was last seen on October 23 at 4 p.m., leaving his childhood home in his car. “Since then there has been no trace of him”, the police wrote. His mother and friends hope his hundreds of thousands of fans will help search for Przybylski.
Not a stunt
Child Focus is also looking for Flemish people. The foundation is committed to missing and sexually exploited children. Przybylski recently collaborated with them on an education campaign about safe gaming.
For a moment it was thought that the disappearance would be part of the campaign that would be launched this week. But employees of the foundation say that is not the case. They expressed their concerns about the disappearance to the Flemish newspaper De Standaard. “Since the lockdown, things have been a little less for him. We can only hope for the best.”
Fans are also concerned. On the Instagram page of the youtuber, they write: “Stay safe” and “Bro, where are you?”.
The youtuber was best known for his dubbing of Dora and his energetic commentary on games he played. His channel has 290,000 subscribers and Kastiop is considered a celebrity for many young people in Flanders.
