Below you will find two delicious recipes for pork stir-fries. You can eat the stir-fry dish with a plate of rice or noodles. You can add satay sauce, sambal and / or prawn crackers to your own taste. The ingredients are shown per 2 persons.
Recipe 1: Babi bell pepper satay (for 2 persons)
Ingredients
- 500 grams of pork fillet
- a red pepper
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 small onion or shallot
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 5 tablespoons of oil (wok oil or sunflower oil)
- pork chop seasoning
- pepper and salt
* Tip: You can also fry pine nuts in a little oil in a separate pan. After serving, sprinkle the pine nuts over the meal. This gives the dish an extra nutty flavor.
Necessities
- Shelf for cutting the pork
- Shelf for slicing the onion and pepper
- Hand press for the garlic cloves (if not available, you can also cut it into very small pieces)
- A bowl for making the marinade
- A bowl for allowing the marinade to soak in the meat
- Wok pan (preferably a heavy pan)
- Wooden spoon for stirring in the wok pan
- Plate and cutlery
Preparation method:
- First of all make a marinade from the pressed (or very finely chopped) garlic by adding soy sauce, lemon juice, a little pepper, salt and pork chop herbs. Stir well with a tablespoon.
- Then cut the pork fillet into cubes of about 3 centimeters.
- Place the meat in the marinade and stir well, so that it can absorb well all around. Leave the meat in the marinade for at least 1 hour and return the dish to the refrigerator during this time.
- Cut the red pepper into small pieces on the plank (thin and oblong or into small cubes).
- Heat 5 tablespoons of oil in the wok pan and fry the meat including the marinade together with the sliced onion and red pepper, until the meat is golden brown.
- Add the stir-fry dish to the 2 plates of rice or noodles (you can sprinkle baked pine nuts on top and add satay sauce, sambal and / or prawn crackers to your taste).
