7-acre “Bos Kan” land in Chiang Mai for sale at 40 million

In Chiang Mai, a well-known social media page has pointed out a notable plot of land owned by Gant Kantarawor, totaling over 7 rai, which is up for sale at 40 million THB. Despite its attractive features, including beautiful views and proximity to the Tha Chang River, the land has not yet been sold. Reporters visiting the site found local residents unaware of its celebrity connection.

The update comes in light of the ongoing case involving “The Icon Group”. Following Gant’s recent arrest and asset seizure, social media recently directed relevant agencies to examine his land in Hang Dong District. Before his arrest, Gant listed the 7 rai, 70 square wah property for sale on Instagram, highlighting its potential for a pool villa.

Upon investigation at the site near Wat Khiri Khet, reporters learned from neighboring landholders that while Gant’s property is listed for sale, no offers have been made yet.

The reporters observed “For Sale” signs placed along the access route, with one sign slightly obscured about a kilometer from the main land. Inside the land, there were signs of recent agricultural activity, including new hoses and hoisted items, suggesting ongoing cultivation or planting efforts.

Later, reporters noted that one “For Sale” sign had been removed and two local Hmong individuals disappeared, who were suspected tenants of Gant’s land.

From conversations with local residents, one elderly man shared that this land has a history within the community, being owned and sold among locals long before Gant’s acquisition. Even now, Hmong farmers continue to cultivate it, taking advantage of the land’s fertility and beautiful environment.
