A tragic event occurred involving a former PR girl who jumped from the 12th floor of a condominium in Hua Mak, Bangkok. The incident stemmed from a dispute with her partner, a 36-year-old nurse’s aide at a cosmetic clinic. Fearing her partner might be unfaithful, the victim expressed suicidal thoughts during an argument and ultimately jumped off the balcony, landing on a fifth-floor garden area.
The police received the report of the incident around 10:05 PM on October 15 and found the deceased, identified as 28-year-old Kanthapat, lying on her side with injuries consistent with the fall, including broken arms and an open injury on her ankle. Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud screams during the argument prior to the fall.
The victim’s partner stated that they were arguing over jealousy issues, which had led to prior similar threats from the deceased about intending to jump. During this particular argument, the victim rushed to the balcony and jumped before the partner could intervene.
Following the incident, investigators found no signs of struggle within the apartment, and the couple had reportedly been cohabiting, with the victim out of work for three months. Witnesses noted that there had been prior incidents of jealousy relating to the victim’s concerns about her partner.
