DSI raids Boss Lab server company, seeks crucial evidence

On October 17, 2024, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) conducted a search of the “Boss Lab” server company linked to “The Icon Group” to find crucial evidence.

At 10:00 AM, DSI officials, led by Deputy Chief Visanu Chimtrakul, searched the premises of Server Rich Co., Ltd. located in Pathum Thani. The search was prompted by information linking the company to The Icon Group, owned by Boss Lab. During the search, several computers were found, but no staff were present at the site.

Deputy Chief Visanu stated that they were looking for computers connected to back-end systems developed by programmers for The Icon Group. He noted that Boss Lab had been arrested the previous day as part of an 18-person investigation.

The primary goal of the search was to gather information about The Icon Group’s back-end system. A search warrant was obtained as Boss Lab was both the owner and programmer associated with the company. The DSI, in collaboration with forensic scientists, found the server equipment arranged in a professional manner, indicating the involvement of IT staff, with various lists and codes that could access computer data. This information is deemed essential for uncovering the truth in the investigation.

Deputy Chief Visanu added that due to Boss Lab’s arrest, the DSI aimed to examine the back-end system for evidence of any wrongdoing. The search was conducted transparently with the cooperation of a legal manager, alongside local police to ensure transparency and clarify the nature of the investigation, which aims to determine any associated criminal activities.
