Court denies bail for Boss Min, Kan, and Sam of Diacon Group

The Criminal Court has denied bail for “Boss Min, Kant, and Sam”, the suspects in the “iCon Group” case, and ordered them to be sent to prison.

On October 17, 2024, reporters revealed that the police from the Consumer Protection Crime Suppression Division presented the suspects from The iCon Group to the court while opposing their bail.

Later at 5:20 PM, Mr. Chuchat Kanphai, the lawyer for Ms. Pichaya Watthanamontri (Boss Min), spoke with the media about the bail request, stating it had been submitted. The amount for the bail would be handled by Ms. Pichaya’s family.

The lawyers for “Boss Kant” and “Boss Sam” also filed for bail, while some other bosses opted not to request bail.

As of 7:10 PM, it was reported that the court had ruled against bail for Boss Sam, Boss Kant, and Boss Min, citing concerns due to the large number of victims and the possibility of tampering with evidence. The suspects are to be sent to prison: the male suspects to Bangkok Special Prison and the female suspect to the Central Women’s Correctional Institution.

Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
