Police have arrested Uthen Boonruangsri, the headman of Moo 3 in Kud Nok Plao, Saraburi, for the rape of an 11-year-old girl, referred to as “Aimm” (a pseudonym). The arrest followed allegations that Uthen groomed the girl through Facebook chats and assaulted her on three occasions in a farming hut. He has been sent to the Saraburi provincial prison after the court denied him bail.
