FOX Sports gets a new name. From January 1, the TV channels, online channels and apps of FOX Sports in the Netherlands will continue under the name ESPN.
The Walt Disney Company bought the majority of the shares last year and the name change is a result, says FOX Sports.
All competitions and programs now broadcast on FOX Sports will continue to be seen from January 1, with the same presenters, analysts and commentators.
FOX Sports broadcasts football matches in the Eredivisie, the Kitchen Champion Division, the Bundesliga and the UEFA Europa League.
