Vehicles over 3.5 tons, however, do not require a vignette. Instead of a lump sum, the toll is charged according to kilometers driven on the motorways, the number of axles and the EURO emission classof the vehicle. The toll is paid via a electronic transponderwhich is installed in the vehicle. Since April 1st, 2018 is for vehicles

Where can I get a vignette for Slovenia?
You can get a vignette for your car, caravan and motorcycle at ADAC branches, at petrol stations near the border and at DARS sales outlets. The prices and regulations for the vignettes differ, as explained at the beginning, depending on the type of vehicle; no toll has to be paid for trailers.
In the case of vignettes to be stuck on, it is essential to ensure that they are clearly visible on the windshield. If you have tint strips on your windshield, the vignette must be affixed underneath so that it remains legible. If you travel on a motorcycle on Slovenia’s motorways, you place the vignette on a smooth, firmly anchored component. If the vignette has expired, remove it soon afterwards, otherwise you may have to pay a fine if you get into a control. With the camper through Slovenia: what does the toll cost? The toll regulations for motorhomes in Slovenia differ slightly from those in other EU countries. For mobile homes up to 3.5 tons GVW and over a height of 1.3 meters on the front axle, the entry “mobile home” in the registration certificate is not decisive for class 2A. It is only important whether the
Camping equipment is firmly and permanently installed (for residential purposes)
. | If these characteristics are not met, the motorhome falls into class 2B. If you are traveling on the motorways of Slovenia with a motorhome over 3.5 tonnes GVW, as described above, you do not need a vignette, as there is no flat rate. The amount of the toll is calculated for your motorhome according to the distance traveled, the emission class and the number of axles. | vehicle | 7 days | 1 month |
