The Police Chief of Khan Na Yao revealed the reason why the famous singer “Tick Chiro” did not undergo a breathalyzer test at the accident scene. Meanwhile, the relatives of the deceased are preparing 100,000 baht for funeral expenses and to cover medical costs.
On the morning of October 10, 2024, Mr. Sirisak Nantasen, known as Tick Chiro, age 63, was driving a Hyundai van and collided with a Honda motorcycle, resulting in the death of Ms. Tienporn, age 28, and severe injuries to Mr. Jakkrapat, age 21, who fell off a 10-meter tall bridge. The incident occurred on a bridge crossing Theparak Road, Sukhabiban 5, in the Sai Mai district of Bangkok.
The Police Chief, Pol. Col. Nareen Kheunsanuk, stated that the accident happened when three motorcyclists stopped on the bridge to retrieve a fallen water bottle. Tick Chiro’s vehicle approached shortly after, and he did not see the motorcycle, resulting in the collision. The motorcycle was parked along the road on a solid line.
It was reported that Tick Chiro went to the hospital with a relative but was assessed to need to stay for observation. After his phone battery died, he could not make calls until later that morning. He arrived at the hospital at 6 AM and a blood test for alcohol content was conducted, with results expected in three days. He is currently receiving treatment, and questioning will occur once he is cleared to leave.
When asked why a breathalyzer test was not conducted at the scene, the chief explained that Tick had chest pain and was unable to perform the test, but there were no indications of him trying to flee the scene.

As of now, charges cannot be filed against Tick until the blood alcohol results are known. If alcohol is found, charges will be brought against him. If not, he could face joint negligence charges, depending on CCTV footage of the incident.
Additionally, the police chief stated that Tick Chiro’s relatives are preparing 100,000 baht for the funeral expenses of the deceased and will also assist with medical expenses for the injured.
