Lucky visitor seeks fortune from “Kumar Somboon” at Wat Phai Lom for the lottery on 1/10/2024

Lottery enthusiasts flock to request lucky numbers from ‘Kumarn Somboon’ at Pai Lom Temple in Nakhon Pathom, where many believe the deity brings wealth and prosperity.

On September 26, 2024, it was reported that during the lead-up to the lottery draw on October 1, 2024, many worshippers visited the hall of Phra Phool to pay respects to ‘Kumarn Somboon’, believing he can bestow fortune upon them.

This particular Kumarn was brought back by the former abbot, Phra Phool, during a visit to Suphanburi. The statue is large, made of bronze, with dimensions of 9 inches wide and 15 inches tall, and was named ‘Kumarn Somboon’.

Numerous lottery players came to seek blessings, offering red drinks and sweets while seeking auspicious numbers. Different individuals had varying methods, such as shaking fortune sticks or selecting ping pong balls from designated spots, and also lighting auspicious incense for Kumarn Somboon.

One participant, 40-year-old Sunni Kachornlap, from Ratchaburi, brought 10 dozen red drinks to offer, sharing that she previously won a lottery prize after receiving the number 728 from lighting incense on Mother’s Day, August 12, 2024. She returned this time to thank Kumarn by making offerings and seeking more luck.

Sunni also planned to offer fortunes again, stating that if she won, she would buy clothing for Kumarn and a toy electric car, as well as make additional donations to Phra Phool. After whispering her intentions to Kumarn and performing the incense lighting ritual, she received number 377 before leaving to purchase lottery tickets.
