You think the cat is beautiful or you think the cat is terribly ugly, but there is not much in between. That also makes the Sphynx a much-discussed pedigree cat. For a large group of people, the cat should above all have something cuddly and stroking is best (read also: softest) with a cat that has a fur.
Out of proportion?
It goes without saying that there is more to a cat than its fur, but that does not alter the fact that most people have a certain image of a cat and a cat that fits “out of proportion.” is not included. Out of proportion the head is seen in proportion to the body and of course the large erect ears. But bald skin in particular is out of proportion. You cannot force to buy an animal based on its character, because when buying a kitten you do not yet know that (except for the general breed characteristics in terms of character) and besides, a pet is something that should suit you and there makes the appearance an essential part of.
Origin
From the US via Canada to Europe
If we do get to know the cat, we have to go to the United States in 1966 for the first report of a litter of domestic cats with a hairless kitten. However, a pedigree breeder bought mother and son and let them have litters. Adding young kittens that sometimes had normal hair and sometimes were bald. During that period they bred inappropriately with these cats and eventually the entire line disappeared ?? except for a cat. Dutchie Nefertiti was bought by a Canadian woman in 1973 and a Dutchman brought a daughter and son of the Canadian cat to Europe a few years later. Although she did not produce any offspring, the owner got two new cats from the same mother a while later and one of the cats was bred. There was no nudity and a Devon Rex was used. The construction of the body is somewhat similar, but the head is essentially different. During the same period, a cat was seen in the United States that regularly had nude kittens. Jezabelle, as she was called, produced kittens and soon people who are allergic to cat hair found that the naked cat was perfectly manageable.
France
In France, the nude cat for Europe was actually the first to be a success, but the origin of these cats was in the Netherlands and after the Devon Rex, which was not a great success, the Cornish Rex became a success.
Recognition
Although they had been working on establishing a healthy breed for years, and sometimes a house cat is crossed through it, it took until 2001 before the cat was officially recognized (in a Mundi cat show) in the Netherlands.
The race
The cat is a healthy and sturdy animal that gives birth to an average of four to six kittens per litter. They are heavy eaters, which can be explained by keeping the cat warm. The cats like to be outside, but the sun can be harmful to the skin. The cat is not completely hairless, but appears so because there is only a kind of down layer on the skin, which is hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The cat is very playful, sweet and likes to be petted. They are social and explicitly require attention.
The Sphynx is best cut now and then in terms of nails, they can injure each other relatively easily. Furthermore, the cat should also be washed every now and then, this has to do with the cat’s sebum which can spread on the furniture. Furthermore, the ears are also sensitive to an excessive amount of wax. Tracking prevents inflammation.

A special cat, that’s for sure. Beautiful or very ugly ?? something for everyone and the enthusiast loves it. With their playful and sweet character they are real buddies. While a nude cat can work regularly for someone with a cat hair allergy, it is not one hundred percent guaranteed. So assume automatically.
