This salad is very easy to prepare. Simple, it only takes a short preparation time and a tasty variant is easily made with few ingredients at home. Due to the marinating of the chicken, preparation earlier in the day is desirable, but this variant is also tasty with a shorter time to marinate. - Pre-cut chicken strips or chicken pieces
- Bottle of soy sauce manis
- Bottle of chili sauce (sweet)
- Honey
- Oil, for example olive oil
- Hot curry spices (or other spices to taste such as salt, pepper, piri piri, etc.)
- Bag of mixed salad
- Honey mustard dressing
- Croutons, lightly baked pine nuts and / or pre-fried onions from the supermarket
- Hard boiled egg
Preparation in advance: Marinate the chicken
Place the chicken pieces in a small bowl, add soy sauce so that half of the chicken pieces in the bowl are covered with sweet soy sauce. Add a tablespoon of oil, a few tablespoons of chili sauce (depending on your taste) and a tablespoon of honey and the herbs. Spoon the chicken pieces well into the marinade. Make sure all chicken is covered in the marinade and let it sit for a while (if possible in the refrigerator for a few hours).
General preparation
Put the chicken strips (after draining the marinade) in the frying pan and fry them until crispy and done over medium heat. Also put water on and boil the egg in boiling water for about 6 minutes. Variation tips
Replace the chicken and marinade with lightly seared bacon. Possibly.
