Suspicious object resembling “bomb” found near The Icon Group

A shocking incident occurred when a suspicious object resembling a bomb was found near the headquarters of Dycon Group owned by Boss Paul. EOD officers are currently investigating the scene.

At approximately 11:45 AM on October 17, 2024, Police Colonel Anan Worasat received reports about a suspicious object near a guard post at the Nirvana At Work project on Soi Ram Inthra 7, Bangkok. He proceeded to the scene with EOD officials.

Upon investigation, officials discovered three brown paper tubes, each about 10 inches long, wrapped with wires and placed inside a black plastic box.

The police then covered the suspicious object with two vehicle tires and cordoned off the area with a police line.

The location is near the Dycon Group company, situated at 165/7 Building B, Nirvana At Work, Soi Ram Inthra 7, associated with Mr. Waratpon Waratayawarakul, also known as Boss Paul, who has recently been in the spotlight.

Subsequent investigations indicated that the object was a fake bomb, consisting of five blue PVC rolls wrapped in brown paper and connected with wires inside the box. Authorities suspect it might have been a threat intended to create panic.
