The police have detained the first group of 17 suspects linked to “The Icon Group” and have submitted them for pre-trial detention at the “Ratchada Criminal Court”. The investigators have opposed their bail.

Following the issuance of arrest warrants for 18 suspects involving “The Icon Group” on charges of fraud and violations of the Computer Crimes Act, the Central Investigation Bureau brought all suspects to their headquarters for further questioning.

On October 17, 2024, it was reported that after the questioning of the 17 suspects was completed, four vans were prepared to transport them to the Ratchada Criminal Court. Initially, the investigators did not allow bail for all 17 individuals, leaving the final decision to the discretion of the court regarding bail.

Recently, at 15:35, the police transported the 17 suspects in vans to the Ratchada Criminal Court, where they boarded one by one. It was reported that Mr. Waratpol Waratyawarakul, also known as Boss Paul, is still under investigation and will be sent for detention tomorrow.
