The flooding has heavily impacted monks, locals, and residents of dormitories, as water levels have reached neck level in some places, leaving individuals unable to exit their homes due to concerns over their belongings, with many opting to sleep on the second floor.
Emergency services and military personnel have set up assistance points in Pa Prao Nok, where locals have provided food and water to first responders. The water levels still remain high, making access impossible for regular vehicles, with only boats and military vehicles being able to navigate in and out.
By 6 PM, the water level at the P.1 measurement point at Nawarath Bridge was reported at 4.54 meters, with a continuous decrease of 3-5 centimeters per hour expected to persist.
By 7 PM, the water level had decreased further to 4.49 meters.
Additionally, water levels in some areas have receded, especially in the Night Bazaar, where water has dropped below sidewalk level, allowing many shops to begin cleaning. Businesses have expressed urgency in cleaning ahead of time, as it will be more difficult once the water fully recedes.
