On September 24, Bangkok Governor Chatchart Sittipunt announced that the city has surpassed its tax collection target for the fiscal year 2024. From October 1, 2023, to August 30, 2024, Bangkok collected a total of 18.13581 billion baht, attaining 98.81% of the target and exceeding initial projections by 8.96%.
