On October 15, 2024, the case gained attention when social media users shared images of a police officer in uniform promoting a TikTok course titled “Coach Chak, Create Impactful Content Using Just Your Phone.”
Investigations revealed that the officer in question is Sgt. Ranawat Nimisawin, an administrative officer at Klong Hoikong Police Station.
Attempts to contact Sgt. Ranawat for comment were unsuccessful.
Police Chief Pol. Col. Chatri Rattankotch has summoned Sgt. Ranawat for questioning about the incident and has established a committee to investigate the matter further.
