The police have reported new developments regarding a fake bomb found near the iCon Group company. A creative director admitted to leaving the dummy explosives, used for an advertisement shoot, at the company’s trash disposal site.
The suspicious object resembling a bomb was discovered at a guard post near the iCon Group on Ram Inthra Road. It consisted of five brown PVC tubes, approximately 8 inches long, wrapped in wires and placed inside a black plastic box. The police contacted the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, which confirmed that the items were fake explosives.

On October 19, 2024, at Bang Khen police station, Police Colonel Anant Worasat revealed that Nattaphol, a creative director at iCon Group, confessed to disposing of the fake bomb at the company on October 10. A housekeeper found it in a garbage bin on October 17, the day the situation escalated, leading security personnel to mistakenly identify it as a real bomb.

The investigation is ongoing to gather further details and complete the case.
