He accidentally came across a conflict between two groups of teenagers by the roadside, which turned violent. A teenager from one group fired a shotgun, and a stray bullet struck Boonlert as he rode by on his motorcycle, causing him to fall and die at the scene.

The, incident happened on September 24, around 10:40 PM. Police quickly apprehended the three suspects aged between 14 and 18, shortly after the incident. The police discovered homemade explosives, several firearms, and a motorcycle linked to the crime. The teenagers claimed that the shooting was unintentional, and they did not mean for Boonlert to be hit, as he was just passing by.

According to investigators, the conflict arose due to a dispute over a girl between the two groups of teenagers. The fatal shot was fired during this altercation, injuring others as well, including a 19-year-old victim named Ittipol. The police have charged the suspects with multiple serious offenses related to the shooting.
