Mom Pleum criticizes the Sueb San Dan series, insists that no matter whether rich or poor, no matter what color blood, they don’t eat soup for breakfast. It should be an omelet or pancake.
Another page in the history of the Thai series industry is Sueb San Dan (Master of the House), a satirical series that exposes the lives of rich people with bad habits. It is not only popular in Thailand, but also popular worldwide, becoming the second most-watched series in the world.
Of course, the popularity comes with criticisms from various perspectives, both positive and negative. Most recently, ML Nattakorn Devakul or Mom Pleum posted on Facebook that
“One detail that should be corrected in Sueb San Dan: No one eats soup for breakfast, whether rich or poor, Western or Thai, blue or red blood. Soup is for other meals. It should be an omelette or pancake for the gentlemen and ladies, including Khai Muk, who understand that they have orange blood.”
In the comments, many social media users have expressed their opinions, including picking up this issue to criticize on other platforms. Some people argued that many houses from many countries have soup for breakfast. Even in the hotel breakfast buffet, there is soup available.
