Nurse shocked to find stranger’s body in her own car

A 53-year-old female nurse was shocked to find a deceased stranger in the back seat of her car when she returned to it after her shift, following a visit to a hospital. The deceased woman was identified as Ms. Boonthita Sirikul, who had been missing after visiting the hospital for over 2 years due to brain atrophy.

On October 21, 2024, at around 6 PM, authorities were notified of a body found in a car on Ubon Road in Sisaket Province. Upon arrival, they discovered Ms. Boonthita’s body in a Honda Jazz belonging to Nurse Nattawadee Khunwathai. The nurse had parked the vehicle to report for duty but found the body upon returning.

Nattawadee explained that she parked the car and assumed she left it unlocked, allowing the deceased to enter unnoticed. Despite the tragedy, relatives of Ms. Boonthita stated they held no suspicion regarding the circumstances of her death. They shared that she had vanished while her family was momentarily distracted, prompting them to report her missing earlier in the day.

Authorities have begun preliminary investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing those involved to ascertain further details surrounding the incident.
