Police chase motorcycle rider on Ram Inthra road after dare

The police have intercepted a group of young street racers who organized a motorcycle speed race via Facebook on Ram Inthra Road. One individual was apprehended, and his vehicle was confiscated, with charges filed against him.

At around 2:00 AM on September 29, 2024, Pol. Col. Anan Worasat, head of Bang Khen Police Station, received reports of teenagers gathering for motorcycle races. He ordered police teams to investigate the area near Ram Inthra Soi 14.

Upon arrival, they found a group of 3-4 motorcycles being driven recklessly, performing wheelies, and attempting to flee from the police. Authorities managed to chase down and arrest one individual, identified as Adisak Suwansean, 22, along with a cream-colored Honda motorcycle without a license plate.

Adisak stated that he and his friends had arranged to gather via Facebook to race their motorcycles. During the ride, a friend dared him to do a wheelie, which led to the police pursuit.

The authorities have taken Adisak and the motorcycle to Bang Khen Police Station for charges of reckless driving and operating a motorcycle without a valid license.
