Sam Boss and Kant Boss under high stress, relatives visit 24/7

The Acting Commander of the Bangkok Special Prison, Mr. Pramote Thongsri, has reported that two male detainees, Bos Sam and Bos Kant, are experiencing high levels of stress and are unable to sleep well. They have expressed a desire to meet with relatives. Additionally, two other male detainees are suffering from serious illnesses: leukemia and kidney disease, and their health will be monitored periodically.

On October 18, 2024, Mr. Pramote discussed the custody of 10 suspects involved in the case against The Icon Group Co., Ltd., who have recently been admitted to the Bangkok Special Prison. Upon their arrival, standard protocols were followed, including health checks and isolation due to COVID-19 for five days.

Two detainees, Mr. Thawin Pat Phuthanarin (Bos Win) and Mr. Jirawat Sangpakdee (Coach Lab), are known to have chronic illnesses, verified by medical documentation. They have received permission to bring in their medications and will be assessed periodically for further medical needs but for now do not require transfer to the correctional hospital.

The prison staff is closely monitoring the overall situation, including psychological assessments to prevent any unexpected incidents. Currently, all detainees are getting along well.

Regarding the two celebrity detainees, Bos Sam and Bos Kant, they are noted for their high stress. They have requested to see relatives but have been informed that visitation must adhere to COVID-19 protocols. Surveillance and monitoring are in place in their isolation room at all times.

The first meal served to the group included spicy fish curry and sautéed kale with chicken, while another meal planned is green curry chicken with pumpkin and rice. After the five-day quarantine period, their classifications for placement in the prison will be evaluated to ensure safety, especially considering potential past disputes with other inmates.
