“Tick Chiro investigates motorcycle accident with dashcam footage”

The forensic department is currently examining footage from the dashcam of musician “Tik Shiro” to find evidence related to a collision with a motorcycle. As of now, no charges have been filed as authorities wait to gather more evidence.

The incident involved Sirisak Nantasen, known as Tik Shiro, 63, who was driving a black Hyundai van that crashed into a Honda motorcycle parked on the roadside. This accident resulted in the death of 28-year-old Tienporn Siwornpitak and left 21-year-old Jakrapak Siwornpitak with severe injuries after he fell off a bridge about 10 meters high. The accident occurred at around 4:00 AM on October 10 on Teprakas Road, Sukhaphiban 5, in the Sai Mai area of Bangkok.

On October 11, updates from the Khan Na Yao Police Station indicated that police were coordinating with forensic investigators to analyze the dashcam footage from Tik’s van to establish the facts of the incident.

Forensic officials examined both vehicles involved in the crash to compare damage and align their findings with the dashcam footage. The Hyundai showed damage at the front left bumper and extensively on the left hood, while the motorcycle was destroyed on the right side and rear.

Reports suggest that the dashcam footage from Tik’s vehicle reveals it was abiding by lane rules before colliding with the stationary motorcycle, which was parked on the shoulder of the road, just over a foot from the white line. Further clarity is awaited from witness testimonies and evidence collection, including a blood alcohol test on Tik Shiro.

Police Colonel Naret Kheangsang of Khan Na Yao Station stated that investigators are assessing the damage and examining the dashcam footage to reach a conclusion about the case. The injured victim is receiving treatment at Bhumibol Hospital.

Meanwhile, Police Major General Atthapon Anusit mentioned that investigators have interviewed Tik Shiro, but details of the interview have not been released. Additionally, the results of Tik’s blood alcohol test are pending from the hospital. When asked whether any charges have been filed, he responded that law enforcement would proceed according to regulations.

In an update from the family, Jirawat Siwornpitak, the father of the victims, expressed his reluctance to speak to the press and stated that he would be picking up his daughter’s body from the police hospital mortuary on October 12.
