Two girls assaulted: Ex-union president’s mother speaks out

Two young girls were reportedly raped over a period of 2 years by a former president of a government enterprise labor union. The parents of the victims filed a complaint, but the case has made little progress. The older daughter, who is a special needs child aged 13, and her 12-year-old sister were tricked into undressing and were raped while being photographed as evidence. They were threatened with harm to their parents if they disclosed the abuse. The police are now preparing to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect.

On October 16, at 9:00 AM, police conducted further questioning of the parents of the victims, Ms. A (15) and Ms. B (14), as they pointed out their grievances about the lack of progress on the case. The suspect, known as Mr. W, had lured the two girls into his home under the pretense of work over two years and has consistently threatened them. Following an appeal for assistance from the media, the investigation was revived.

The incident began on June 2, 2024, when the children’s parents reported that their 13-year-old daughter, unable to attend school due to her condition, and her 12-year-old sister had become increasingly unwilling to go to Mr. W’s home for work. After pressing them for details, they finally revealed to their mother that Mr. W had been coercing them to strip and rape them while taking photos, threatening to kill their parents if they told anyone. Fearing for their safety, the family chose to report the abuse to the police.

The children’s mother expressed profound regret, explaining how the family trusted Mr. W, even having previously worked for him. After learning of the report to authorities, Mr. W attempted to bribe the family with money and motorcycles to withdraw the complaint, but the family refused, seeking justice instead.

Concerned that the case would stall, the family sought media assistance given their financial struggles and ongoing threats, urging police to expedite the investigation. Subsequently, the investigators took the victims to the crime scene for further evidence gathering, and medical examinations confirmed signs of sexual abuse. An arrest warrant is soon to be issued based on the collected evidence.

Later on, police brought the victims to identify the crime scene at Mr. W’s home, but a male individual refused to let them enter, claiming that Mr. W was not present and that he couldn’t allow entry. Despite police explanations, access wasn’t granted. Eventually, law enforcement opened the door based on their search warrant but found Mr. W was not there, being told he was at a hospital for kidney treatment. He would supposedly turn himself in upon his return.
