Urgent hunt for “Boss Paul’s driver” over scandalous audio

Authorities are actively pursuing the private driver of “Boss Paul” to clarify the details surrounding a scandalous audio clip. The driver is believed to have possession of another phone which may contain critical information; the previously seized phone did not reveal the alleged audio.

As of October 19, 2024, the investigation concerns audio recordings allegedly made by Mr. Waratphol Waratyavorakul (“Boss Paul”) involving conversations that suggested extortion and threats from various singers and notable politicians. Officials are currently validating the existence of these recordings.

Initially, on the day of the arrest, authorities confiscated one mobile phone and various electronic devices from Mr. Waratphol, which are now being analyzed by the police. So far, no audio evidence matching the claims has been discovered on the seized device.

The investigation has indicated that Mr. Waratphol also possesses a second mobile phone currently hidden with a private driver named Mr. Ek (surname unknown), which is suspected to contain the key audio files. Authorities are now focusing on locating him to gather more factual evidence.

During the arrest of an 18-member suspect network, several mobile phones and electronic devices were also seized, with four phones already handed over for further investigative analysis.

Concerning an ongoing fraud case related to investment schemes, while all 18 suspects have been apprehended, investigators continue to question additional witnesses and seek further financial documents to fortify their case. The evidence already indicates that the company involved was more focused on recruiting members rather than selling products.
