As of approximately 9:00 PM, the bodies of the deceased were removed from their residence and sent to Songkhla Hospital for further examination, amidst sorrow from relatives of both the husband and wife present at the scene.
Authorities are awaiting additional autopsy results, including tests for any drugs in the stomach, as there are suspicions about whether the husband, daughter, and son were drugged before the shooting. Preliminary autopsy reports revealed the use of a pillow before the three were shot.
The wife reportedly attempted to suffocate herself with burnt paper in a room before ultimately using a gun to take her own life. When authorities found her, her body was still warm, indicating she might not have immediately committed suicide but may have taken some time after the shooting.
Furthermore, reports indicate the wife had obtained sleeping pills from her parents’ home prior to the incident. Investigators are waiting for toxicology results to confirm if any drugs were involved, as there was unusually little noise in the house aside from the gunshots at the time of the incident.
